Both institutions obtained eight first places in the 15 careers evaluated, which are among the most demanded in the metropolitan area. The employers look for graduates of the Medicine School of La Salle University because their preparation allows them to easily incorporate to the hospital hard work, said Pedro Argüelles Domenzain, Academic Secretary of this career which has been imparted in ULSA for the past 37 years. Based on follow-ups made by the university of these graduates, it is evident that they have a high sense of responsibility and professional ethics. The Industrial Engineering graduates of ULSA rapidly find a place in the labor market because the engineering companies require them, says Erika Avelar, head of this career. Starting from the fifth semester the schedule of this career is mixed, allowing the students to study and work, with the possibility to have formal jobs in the eighth or ninth semester. The professionals who teach the Accounting career in ULSA work in the seven most important companies of México, which allows them to share with the students the technical bases of their career, combined with the experience of professional life, Carolina Rojas, head of the career, pointed out.. “The Lasallian student is formed with ethical and humanistic values, and besides having critical opening, the accountants receive an entrepreneur formation that gives them the capacity not only to look for work but to generate it and help others”, she added.
